Well since the KX3 is a no go for the gas piston rifle. I'm looking for a new flash hider for my PSD. I'm considering a Smith Vortex. But am open to suggestions. I've seen pictures of the AAC Blackout flash hider and the flash is very very very minimal.

I'm going to put a Smith Vortex on mine when funds permit.

I've got YHM Phantom, Vortex, AAC Blackout. They are all top notch stuff and you won't notice a difference between any. My opinion...pick whichever one looks cooler to you.

I have a Smith Vortex waiting on my LWRC. Supposedly it has the best flash reduction, so it wins in my book. Looks pretty damn cool too.

I've heard that and I've also heard that the AAC Blackout has a slight better flash suppression but not by much.

From what I've read on various pages and forums. The Flash Suppressor Non Suppressor Adapter mount is only available in the 1/2 x 28tpi. Although they do have the Flash suppressor/Suppressor Adapter mount in the 5/8 x 24 but I don't plan on putting a suppressor on it. I believe I will be getting the Smith Vortex now. I wish they made the 6.8 vortex's with the glass prongs like CMMG's smith vortex for the 5.56bbl.
