Was going for original wood furniture AR10 look, and then the wood/steel look of WWII, or trying to anyway:

I'm sure Ben in all his genius would be able to come up with a slick wood grain look when layering cerakote, or do a wood grain hydro dip to make it easier: http://watertransferprinting.com/wg_gallery.html

That FDE takes the cake.

Jon, reckon I can swap black stock/BCM grip for FDE stock/MOE grip before it ships, or would I just be buying the FDE parts in addition to the rifle?

And I need to send in a tuned 51 tooth brake for pinning...

We can swap for you. Shoot me a PM with your order number and I will make a note for you. Might as well get the bottom rail textured in FDE as well :yup:

Should be. The upper is finished and we should have some pics of it up in the morning. I must say that the Field Grey and FDE mix looks REAL good!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys are the best, and I can't wait to put in another order with you (eventually...when I have some more disposable cash) :yeah:

Not the best pic. Lighting doesn't do it justice but the two colors look very good together in person. We should have the complete gun ready for photos later today.

FWIW, I can vouch for Magpul OD Green and GFG going well together. Haven't swapped the furniture out yet but I took advantage of a deal and bought some OD Green Maglevels. When I received them I seated one, noticed how good the color combination looked and the wheels started turning.

I've been trying to hold off on swapping everything out though. I've noticed that when the wheels start turning my wallet starts emptying and I'm trying to slow those wheels down a bit.

Oh I'm already there. I'm just trying to keep a tiny corner of my wallet out of it.

I wanna see those completed pics, but I'm pretty sure I'm calling Jon in the morning to add the textured FDE to mine...
