I know its not an elcan but have you given any thought to the new Leupold CQBSS? 1 to 8 power and you can get it with an H-27 reticle. However, at close to 4 grand with the H-27 Horus its really hard to justify. I be tempted to stick with an elcan or nightforce.

No, that's not the way I'm looking for this build. If i did go that way, it'd probably be a SS HD 1-6x

And a T2... :yup: For 4K you can get a Fenrir, a T2, a case of ammo and have enough left over for a nice dinner.

Any real word on the T-2 release date? Talked to John at Larue today and they haven't received any word yet.

I think I may put my CompM4 up for sale..

I just picked up a H-1 from Dvor from $480 last week! I was pretty stoked about that. My old 6.8 OD A2 upper that MO is cutting down to 10.5" will be naked no longer. I guess I'll reserve judgement until I fondle one, but I'm not that excited about the T-2.

Larue has "Coming soon" http://www.laruetactical.com/aimpoint?sort=popular
Its supposed to be released this month. I am wanting one of these real bad but it depends on what Larues price will be. Hopefully under $750 with a tall mount. Word on the street is that the T1 and H1 prices are supposed to come down when this releases, we will see... So Tommy, whens that Elcan shipping???

Bought two new T1 2 MOA with Larue mounts + TD cover from M4 Carbine: $600 and $580 shipped. The only difference is the optics clarity. How much clarity do you need for a non magnified glass? I dont think its worth $200 more!

I believe I will stick with what I have, the T-2 is still unproven.

Coming from Aimpoint, it's probably rock solid though.
I'll just sit here quietly and play with my new rail panels...........
