Had To Send In My Upper

Postby jimbo45 » Tue Nov 24, 2015 11:21 am

My gun wouldn't run at all suppressed. The spent case was getting stuck in the action with the next round wedging it in and not going fully into the chamber. Called LWRC and Ed got me a return label really quick and I got it sent off same day. Hopefully all is well when I get it back.

That's weird. Extractor problem?

Which upper?

I believe it was over gassed. Not sure though he said it wasn't something I could fix and best to send it in. It was the 16" REPR upper.

lwrc's turnaround is pretty impressive. They received the upper on 11/25 and I had it back on 12/7. Notes say they tuned the gas port and replaced the bolt carrier as it was out of spec. I really appreciate it when a company not only stands behind their product but fixes things that quick. The REPR wasn't my first lwrc and it wont be my last either.
