LWRC at SHOT?

Postby bastardsonofelvis » Fri Jan 26, 2018 4:04 pm

Man, I miss the days when this forum was more active. There would be so much buzz around this time of year. Now it's just tumbleweeds.

Is LWRC even at SHOT? A google search turned up nothing.

The only thing I have seen from shot is a DI competition. Longer handrail. I’m patiently waiting for people’s YouTube videos be uploaded.

i'm sure they are there. They have the comp DI and they are showing off a prototype sub gun in 9mm and 40. Might have folding stock and take Mp5 plastic mags. Prototype.

JK, lol.

Something is off this year with Shot as a whole.

Anybody know how to imbed a video instead of a link?

I think they also have a 45 degree safety lever and marking on lowers.

Money is down on firearms, has been since the election.

The L'dub DI and 224 V has put them in the spotlight IMHO. The DI has a lot of bang for the buck, think I'm going to need one soon.

I dunno, I definitely didn't come to LWRC for DI or gimmicky calibers. Just saying. I'd be more likely to buy more if they found (non-DI, I'm done with that mess) ways of making affordable rifles and carbines in common calibers. Maybe a less than $3K .308 option. To each their own I suppose.

I like to stick with common calibers, if I can't shoot it a LOT and enjoy it, I don't need it.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of responses here as I've been SLAMMED with stuff around here. Lots of shows, traveling, etc. with far less staff. Most of the updates I have done on our social media (Instagram live feed etc.) this is an awesome way to connect as I can essentially do a live video while you guys ask questions and things like that.

There is also an LWRCI group on FB which is purely LWRCI gun owners. I would recommend joining that if you have not.

As for Shot Show, the 224 Valkyrie stole the show for us. So far, everyone loves this round and the test results are promising. Good performance out of a small platform.
