Reloading question for REPR

Postby SHOOTER57 » Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:29 pm

Reloading question. Have any of the REPR dudes tried to neck up 243 brass and if so have you had enough success to make it worth the effort. I've got a lot more than I need (243) and would like to put it to good use.

You can neck it up, just be sure and check your OAL.

If your brass is old, anneal it first otherwise the chances of split necks are greatly increased. Use a lot of lube ;). I would take a look at the expander ball in your 308 dies and polish out any roughness.

If you have a 243 you should consider doing something to the cases so they are easily identifiable.
