I heard all about that, the guy was a moron, Ed knew it right away. And no interview was promised.
That being said I have 3 Ed browns after the 1st I sold a kimber to help pay for #2,
I have an exec target, a sfc and a 5" sf quite customized. Any how never had a springer (even though I wouldn't mind one) but kimber doesn't have anything on Ed Brown.
I know you have taste as I fairly assume you have at least one lwrc, Kimber is like dpms or Olympic arms.

I had a Ed Brown for awhile - it was far and away my favorite 1911 (list includes multiple Springfield Operators, TRP, TRP Operators, Kimber, Springfield Pro and STI 5 inch Tactical.)

Only sold because I carried and shot my glocks more and...well.....wanted more glocks.
