Brownell's Aluma-hyde II "Magpul FDE"

Easy to apply -- spray on in a few coats with heat gun in between, no baking. Seams pretty durable. As close a match to magpul FDE furniture as I've seen. In fact, I think the variation between this paint and a magpul product is within the limits of the variations you see between different FDE magpul products.

Comparisons below, magpul is on the left in the closeup. Which mag I painted is obvious, the other is a FDE pmag. Lastly, in the gun. The two hole QR rail is also covered in Aluma-hyde.

Meany moons ago I used their bake on lacquer on a upper and lower and the aluma-hide on the barrel and flash hider. Both held up extremely well.

I hadn't thought about or had interest in painting my REPR mags until your wright up. Thanks I will give it a try.
